About Shekinah
Here it goes...
I've always loved literature, and all kinds of it. From the time I was a little girl, I have had an undying passion for reading. My soul has been captivated by words from the moment I first learned to read. You know how most girls fell in love with the Prince at the end of "Beauty and the Beast"? Well, my mind was still hooked on the LIBRARY (I was a bibliophile before even knowing what that was)! Storytelling is the truest love of my life, and whether I'm the one reading or creating, divorce is not an option! As I got older and endured some emotional hardships, I turned to writing as a way to escape from my problems when a book wasn't nearby. That escape turned into a need, and that need turned into a passion. I began to create characters of various backgrounds, worlds of ancient or futuristic proportions, and got lost completely in the stories that my mind built out of nothingness.
Multiple genres exist in my mind, and I want to create them all - from romantic fiction, to knuckle clenching drama, to ocean deep fantasies, to intergalactic science fiction. It is my hope to someday make all the dreams in my head bring life to pages for you to read and enjoy.
Besides reading and writing, I enjoy cooking (and eating), getting lost in music, watching movies (and fussing at them), studying and loving wildlife, fangirling (it is an art form), reading manga, watching anime and cartoons (I'm a whole kid at heart), and dreaming almost constantly of hope and love. I find no greater moment of solace than sitting barefoot on the porch watching the passion in a summer storm, or gazing whimsically into the stars and imagining someone out there is staring back.

Nightingale Glory Novels/Books
What is it and why?
A Nightingale is a bird known primarily for the melodious song of the male commonly heard at night during breeding season. The nightingale is a relatively small creature, with a bland brownish color that doesn't make it appear at the least appealing to the eye - perhaps even considered of no importance or significance just by its appearance.
However, despite how plain and tiny and unimportant it may appear, the nightingale breaks the stereotype of how it may look with a beautiful song that has been so widely revered, it has been mentioned in some of the most famous literary works known to mankind.
I chose to place my novels and/or books under the title of "Nightingale Glory" as a symbolic gesture. I did not meet the expectations of others for so long, and had been made to believe that I was too basic, too plain, to unimportant to make a mark or change, or accomplish dreams. But like the nightingale, I and my works will show that it's not the way things look that determines value or ability...but what is inside - that untapped potential that has the ability to shake perceptions for lifetimes.
